GETTING STARTED
We began by conducting a competitive analysis, followed by qualitative research involving the stakeholder and our primary users. Through in-person interviews, we were able to create user personas to reflect our target audience, and map out the journey of the users as they navigate through our platform.
CREATING AND TESTING THE DESIGN
The next step of the process included the creation, testing, and multiple iterations of our wireframes. Once again, we tested the wireframes of our design with the stakeholder, as well as potential users. At this stage, we received a lot of valuable feedback and insight, which took us back to the drawing board.
HIGH-FIDELITY PROTOTYPING
Once we felt that the wireframes were ready, I took the lead on designing a high-fidelity interactive prototype in Adobe Illustrator. We used InVision to add interactivity to our prototype, which helped us demostrate the user experience of some of the key components of our platform. We used this prototype to successfully pitch the product to our stakeholders, which included the CEOs of the organization.
